Men In Black pull off a gritty comeback to take the series 2-1 over Chaos. Chaos looked to be in the driver’s seat early after securing a frantic 5-4 overtime victory in Game 1 behind a 5-point masterclass from Rxzmus. However, the momentum swung violently in Game 2 as Men In Black settled into a more disciplined structure, grinding out a 4-2 win to even things up. By the time Game 3 rolled around, the Chaos defense had no answers for the MIB transition game, resulting in a 7-3 blowout that punctuated the comeback. The Men In Black offense was spearheaded by the trio of TVK, iiNsAnE x w00dy, and willisx97, who combined for 27 points across the 3 matchups. TVK was the primary finisher, netting 6 goals including a massive 4-goal performance in the clincher, while EricHMusic was a wizard from the point with 7 total assists. Chaos found plenty of early production from yRykerr and daintydanglz, who both finished with 8 points apiece, but they struggled to find that same high-end efficiency as the series wore on and the MIB forecheck intensified. Puck control and defensive pressure ultimately decided this series. While Chaos was clinical in the opener, Men In Black dominated the possession story in the final 2 games, culminating in a nearly 2-to-1 time on attack advantage in the finale. The physical toll was also a factor, with willisx97 leading the way with 22 hits to disrupt the Chaos breakout. Between the relentless shot volume—highlighted by MIB outshooting Chaos 23-9 in Game 3—and a struggling .720 aggregate save percentage from CN65, Chaos simply couldn't weather the storm once Men In Black found their rhythm.
