What a matchup we had on January 8th! The Murder Muppets took on the Evil Nature, and it was a thriller right to the end with the Muppets edging out a 3-2 victory. It was a busy night behind the net for both goalies, but I Eden L came out on top with 10 saves against 12 shots, while K33P x 27 faced a hefty 20 shots but kept 17 out of the net for a solid performance.
The Muppets’ TheGr8Haxby was the star tonight, racking up 3 points with a goal and 2 assists, proving to be a key player in the decisive moments. Cynders13 also chipped in with a short-handed goal, while the other scoring contributions came from MBell91 and the dynamic duo of King Tougie and ChiefAuggy, who provided crucial assists to support their team’s offensive efforts.
On the Evil Nature side, Devin decibel and xT S P 0 0 N each had a goal and assist, doing everything they could to keep their squad in the hunt. bobaloo123 added another assist to lift the team, but even with 12 shots on net, they couldn’t catch up in time. It was a game filled with hustle, hits, and some glorious saves, but the Murder Muppets skated away with the win, moving on stronger than ever!
