In a game that defied the logic of the stat sheet, Chaos escaped with a 3-2 victory over Limitless despite spending the majority of the night trapped in their own zone. Limitless controlled the pace from the opening draw, doubling Chaos in shots and time on attack, but they couldn't find the finishing touch needed to pull away. The turning point came in the back half of the contest when Chaos capitalized on a rare counter-attack, allowing Loxies to bury the game-winner and shift the pressure back onto a Limitless squad that had grown frustrated by their inability to convert possession into a lead.
The story of the game was the disparity between the two creases.
