SERIES RECAP

Chaos takes the series 2-1 over the Baboons after pulling off a gritty comeback following an opening-game loss. The Baboons set the pace early with a 4-2 victory in Game 1, fueled by a physical forecheck and clinical finishing. However, Chaos responded by tightening their defensive structure in Game 2, grinding out a slim 2-1 win to force a decider. Momentum shifted entirely in the final game, where Chaos transitioned from a defensive shell into a full-throttle offensive juggernaut, clinching the series with a dominant 6-2 performance. The series stars for Chaos were daintydanglz and Busta Dimez, who combined for 15 points over the 3 games. daintydanglz was the catalyst in the finale, erupting for 5 points (2G, 3A) in Game 3 alone to finish with a series-high 8 points. Busta Dimez remained the most consistent threat, averaging 2.3 points per game and providing the game-winning goal in the pivotal Game 2. On the Baboons' side, l Volcom x 28 l and l2l MacK l9l led the way with 6 points each, while Volcom added a massive physical presence with 22 hits across the series. In the crease, WeThePeople1829 was the stabilizing force for Chaos, posting a combined 62 saves and out-dueling the Baboons' netminder when it mattered most. The deciding factor in this matchup was the dramatic shift in puck possession and zone control as the series progressed. While the Baboons controlled the early physicality, Chaos eventually figured out the neutral zone, finishing the series with 31 interceptions. By Game 3, the gap in Time on Attack was staggering, with Chaos holding a 564 to 366 advantage. This sustained pressure allowed Chaos to rack up 50 shots over the series compared to 39 for the Baboons. Ultimately, the ability of Chaos to transition from the defensive slugfest of Game 2 into the high-volume shooting gallery of Game 3 left the Baboons without an answer.
