What a showdown we had tonight! Back 2 Basics edged out The Association 4-3 in a nail-biter filled with intense plays and some clutch performances. Johnny H0ckey was a standout for The Association, lighting the lamp twice and putting up some solid hits, while FaceCzar also got on the scoresheet with a nifty goal. MBell91 played a crucial role assisting on both of H0ckey's goals, but in the end, it just wasn't enough to seal the deal.
On the other side, Rubberducky x41 was absolutely on fire, netting a pair of goals and contributing with an assist, while Prodigyx8 picked up a goal and an assist, soaring to the spotlight in the deciding moments. Jewbawkka was the unheralded hero, racking up a whopping 3 assists, proving that playmaking can be just as crucial as scoring. Then we had x Neal x 19 x contributing with a goal and an assist, making sure there were no quiet moments for The Association's defense.
Both goalies, Scarrzy33 for Back 2 Basics and WeThePeople#1829 for The Association, held their ground despite the scoreboard. Scarrzy33 grabbed 12 saves against 15 shots, while WeThePeople#1829 faced a bit more heat with 12 saves on 16 shots.
