What a game tonight as the Yetis took down the Vorpal Swords 4-2 in a nail-biter! The ice was buzzing right from the drop of the puck, and the Yetis dominated the shot count with 28 shots to the Swords' 17. It was a solid showing from Josh hockeymike2344, who lit the lamp three times and added an assist, bringing his point total to 4. King Tougie also had a night to remember with a goal and 3 assists—a true playmaker on the ice!
On the defensive side for the Yetis, Upshall 55 and ScriblesMcNasty both picked up assists, but it was a team effort that really shone through. Snow-L37L faced 16 shots and held the fort with 14 saves, while over on the other end, ll Superstar ll had a rough go with 24 saves but let in 4 goals. The Yetis scored 1 power-play goal out of a long 28-minute TOA, showing they know how to capitalize when it counts.
The Vorpal Swords put up a real fight, highlighted by prochx9’s short-handed goal late in the game, and K33P x 27's 2 assists helping keep them in it. It's clear they’re a team with grit, but tonight just wasn't their night. With such an electric performance, the Yetis have to feel pretty good moving forward!
