What a game we had on August 6th! The Money Shot took the win against Plan B with a final score of 4-2. The away squad really took control, racking up 4 goals on just 12 shots. Plan B had the puck a ton with 30 shots but couldn't find the net enough times to secure the game. A true testament to the Money Shot's goalie, who padded the stats with 28 saves and allowed only 2 goals.
FaceCzar was an absolute beast out there, lighting the lamp 3 times and adding in a power play goal that really swung the momentum. Blackopspro5903 chipped in another and Half-Baked contributed an assist to wrap the night. For Plan B, it was BeRoose and SPUDDWEISER who each registered a goal and an assist—nice offensive production there but not enough to keep pace with the Money Shot's firepower.
In terms of physicality, there were some hits thrown around, especially from Hockeymike2344 who delivered a jaw-jarring 8 hits, but ultimately it was the Money Shot's special teams that sealed the deal with 2 power play goals. Plan B had their chances but couldn't convert on the scoreboard. Better luck next time for them!
