In a game where defense felt optional, the Harfangs edged out The Strawberrys 9-8 in a chaotic overtime thriller. Despite being heavily out-possessed—trailing in time on attack 10:00 to 16:10—the Harfangs remained incredibly opportunistic every time they crossed the blue line. The Strawberrys controlled the pace for most of the night and peppered the net with 27 shots, but they could never quite pull away. The game eventually required an extra frame, where Duchesne_x_10 called game by burying his 3rd goal of the night to secure the winner.
The individual performances in this one were staggering. xbrindy put on an absolute clinic for the Harfangs, finishing with 5 goals and 4 assists for a 9-point night, while simultaneously playing the role of enforcer with a massive 21 hits. He was effectively a one-man wrecking ball that The Strawberrys had no answer for. Jeeves2009 was the primary facilitator, racking up 7 assists, while Duchesne_x_10 rounded out the attack with 7 points of his own. The Strawberrys countered with a balanced but high-octane offense led by mashotpa and splxshin., who both recorded hat tricks and 5 points, while SupremeBannock provided elite service from the back end with 5 assists.
