RECAP

Limitless managed to escape with a narrow 4-3 victory over Los Bandidos in a game that felt much more one-sided in terms of puck control than the final score suggests. Despite Los Bandidos finding ways to stay within striking distance via opportunistic finishing, Limitless controlled the tempo for the vast majority of the night. The turning point came in the later stages when yrykerr finished off a clinical sequence to record the game-winning goal, momentarily silencing a Bandidos squad that had stayed afloat largely due to the high-volume shooting of Jellyl35l. The offensive engines for Limitless were firing on all cylinders, led by yrykerr’s massive 4-point night (1 goal, 3 assists). He was the primary facilitator, consistently finding Phaybo, who tucked away 2 goals, and TrashDav, who chipped in 3 points of his own. On the other side, Jellyl35l did everything possible to carry the Los Bandidos offense, firing 8 of the team's 14 total shots and finding the back of the net twice. While WeThePeople1829 kept the Bandidos in it with 13 saves, the relentless pressure from the Limitless top line eventually proved too much to withstand. Ultimately, the deciding factor was the significant discrepancy in zone time and puck possession. Limitless dominated the Time on Attack (TOA) with 652 seconds compared to just 367 for Los Bandidos—nearly doubling their opponent's offensive presence. This possession advantage allowed Limitless to wear down the Bandidos' defensive pairings, specifically Roboubi and CN65, who were forced to spend most of the game defending in their own end. While the shot count was relatively close at 17-14, the quality of sustained pressure from Limitless ensured they walked away with the win.
