The Mighty Deks pulled off a stunning 5-4 heist against Area 51, proving that quality often trumps quantity in competitive EASHL. Despite Area 51 controlling the pace for the vast majority of the game, the Mighty Deks capitalized on nearly every high-danger chance they generated. Area 51 spent over 10 minutes (642 seconds) on the attack compared to just 4:31 for the Deks, but they couldn't close the door when it mattered most. The momentum swung for good when the Mighty Deks converted a crucial power play, forcing Area 51 to chase a game they felt they had already won in the possession battle.
The offensive load for the Mighty Deks was carried by a lethal duo; BAR D0WN 43 and Chandler4911 both netted 2 goals and an assist, combining for 6 points. BAR D0WN 43 eventually secured the game-winner, showcasing why he was the most dangerous threat on the ice.
