RECAP

The Mighty Deks managed to secure a gritty 4-3 victory over Limitless in a contest where efficiency triumphed over sustained pressure. Despite spending significantly less time in the offensive zone, the Deks capitalized on their high-danger looks to maintain a slim lead for much of the night. The game reached its climax when twoaccurate buried the eventual game-winning goal, providing just enough cushion to withstand a late-game surge from the Limitless attack. It was a classic case of a team weathering a storm and striking back with clinical precision when the lanes opened up. The offensive engine for the Mighty Deks was fueled almost entirely by the duo of Chandler4911 and twoaccurate. Chandler4911 was a constant threat, factoring into every single goal his team scored with a massive 4-point performance (2 goals, 2 assists) on 6 shots. His chemistry with twoaccurate, who tallied 3 points of his own, proved to be the difference-maker. On the other side, yrykerr nearly willed Limitless back into the game, recording 2 goals and an assist while leading a heavy physical charge. ZienoYT held firm under the barrage in the Deks' crease, turning aside 15 of 18 shots to finish with a solid .833 save percentage and an 80 overall teamplay rating. The underlying metrics tell a story of missed opportunities for Limitless. They dominated the puck possession game, racking up 13:01 in time on attack (TOA) compared to the Deks' 8:47, but they struggled to turn that zone time into quality finishes. While Limitless played a much heavier game—piling up 30 hits led by witttn’s 9—the Mighty Deks remained disciplined, taking 0 penalties and refusing to give their opponents any free looks on the power play. Ultimately, the Deks' ability to stay out of the box and convert on a higher percentage of their limited chances allowed them to steal a win in a game where they were often hemmed in their own end.
