Anarchy walked away with a chaotic 7-5 victory over Smoke HC in a game where clinical finishing trumped zone dominance. Despite Smoke HC controlling the puck for significantly longer stretches with 483 seconds of time on attack compared to Anarchy’s 383, they couldn't find an answer for Anarchy's quick-strike offense. The game swung back and forth, but every time Smoke HC managed to pull close on the back of a Hylightt hat trick, Anarchy responded immediately with a counter-attack that exploited gaps in the defensive coverage.
PunchmadeFinn was the undeniable story of the night, putting on a finishing clinic by scoring 5 goals on just 5 shots. Every time the puck touched his stick in the slot, it ended up in the back of the net, leading all skaters with 6 points. He was supported heavily by Hawk x I22I, who chipped in 2 goals and 2 assists while physically imposing himself with 19 hits.
