RECAP

Limitless showcased a clinic in offensive efficiency, doubling up the Gooper Troopers in a 10-5 victory that was defined by sustained pressure and clinical finishing. Despite the Gooper Troopers actually outshooting the home side 18-17, the game never truly felt close after the first period. Limitless dominated the puck, maintaining a lopsided 11:22 to 5:11 advantage in time on attack. The turning point was a relentless second-period surge where Limitless capitalized on nearly every high-danger chance, effectively chasing the game away from the Troopers before they could find their footing. The offensive output from Limitless was spearheaded by yrykerr, who found the back of the net 5 times on just 9 shots. While yrykerr provided the finishing touch, mistertwox2 acted as the primary engine from the blue line, tallying a massive 8 points (2 goals, 6 assists) and netting the game-winner. TrashDav was equally vital to the rotation, recording a hat trick and 3 assists for a 6-point night. On the opposing side, Animal x86 and Buckley0306 tried to keep the Troopers in the hunt with 4 points apiece, but they simply couldn't match the sheer volume of high-quality looks generated by the Limitless top line. The deciding factor in this contest was the disparity in goaltending and zone control. While Il Eroc lI was solid enough for Limitless, stopping 13 of 18 shots, EXHUMING SOULS struggled under the constant barrage of cross-crease looks and point shots, finishing with a .412 save percentage. The Troopers’ inability to clear the defensive zone resulted in Limitless spending over twice as much time in the offensive end. This possession gap meant that even though the shots were low, every Limitless attempt was a high-percentage look, resulting in an unsustainable 58.8% team shooting percentage that the Troopers simply couldn't overcome.
