Evil Nature turned in a clinical performance on Wednesday night, dismantling Gooper Troopers in a 7-1 rout that was decided by pure efficiency. Despite the shot clock looking relatively balanced at 14-13 in favor of the visitors, the game narrative was anything but equal. Evil Nature established a stranglehold on the puck early, sustaining 610 seconds of time on attack compared to just 381 for the Troopers. The turning point came in the opening frame as Evil Nature’s quick-strike transition game repeatedly caught the Gooper Troopers' defenders flat-footed, turning visual parity into a lopsided scoreboard before the home side could settle in.
