What a matchup we had tonight between the Rink Rivals Raiders and the Elite! The Elite came out swinging, securing a dominant 5-1 victory that had the Raiders struggling to keep pace. Despite Rink Rivals hitting the ice and putting up a solid 23 shots, they just couldn’t break through against the Elite defense. OG MURPH 416 managed to light the lamp for the Raiders with 1 goal and 0 assists, showcasing his physicality with 26 hits, but it just wasn't enough to close the gap.
On the other side, yRykerr absolutely stole the show, racking up 5 points with 2 goals and 3 assists. TrashDav matched that energy with another set of 5 points with 2 goals and 3 assists as well. Not to mention, Allen_1222 chipped in with a goal of his own. Dariusz0726 held down the fort in goal for the Elite, facing 22 shots and making 17 saves while allowing only 1 goal, giving him a solid game at a 5.0 GAA.
The Raiders put up a commendable effort but couldn't overcome the Elite's relentless attack and solid goaltending. With both teams racking up the penalty minutes, it was definitely a physical game, but the Elite capitalized on their chances to clinch the W tonight.
