In a matchup that unfolded like a pulse-pounding thriller, Friendtip skated away with a commanding 5-2 victory over Too Many Men. Friendtip’s offensive onslaught revolved around mwags2424, who lit the lamp three times and added an assist, proving to be an absolute force on the left side with a whopping 10 shots! Add to that the slick playmaking of xMINI WICKx, who notched 1 goal and 2 assists, and you can see why they dominated the scoreboard.
On the home front, FaceCzar was the star of the show for Too Many Men with both goals coming from his stick, notching 2 points while dishing out 14 hits for good measure. Unfortunately for Too Many Men, they simply couldn't keep pace with Friendtip’s relentless attack. DiabloQC chipped in with 1 assist, but goalie I Eden L faced a barrage of shots and had a tough night stopping 20 of 25.
The special teams' efforts were pretty much non-existent for Too Many Men, who couldn’t connect on their only power play opportunity, while Friendtip capitalized with 1 power play goal. In terms of shots, it was all Friendtip with 25 to Too Many Men’s 13. A great routing for Friendtip as they gear up for the next challenge, while Too Many Men will definitely want to recalibrate before their next game!
