Evil Nature edged out The Strawberrys in a 5-4 overtime thriller that saw both teams trade heavy blows throughout regulation. The Strawberrys hung tough despite being outshot 19-11, even capitalizing on a power play to keep the score tight. However, the game reached its breaking point in the extra frame when Evil Nature’s relentless offensive pressure finally wore down the opposition. The turning point came late in regulation when LarkSr used his physical presence, tallying 9 hits, to disrupt The Strawberrys' breakout, eventually setting the stage for his game-winning goal in overtime.
The score sheet was headlined by some massive individual efforts. On the winning side, Mr LWSP was a force in the offensive zone, recording a hat trick on 9 shots and utilizing his 2 deflections to baffle the goalie. He was supported by LarkSr, who notched 2 goals and an assist, and K33P x 27, who dominated the faceoff dot with a 75% win rate (15 for 20) and 3 assists.
