Area 51 secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Evil Nature in a contest that was defined by a massive gap in puck possession. Despite the close final score, Area 51 dictated the terms of the game from the opening draw, pinning Evil Nature in their own zone for long stretches of play. The turning point came in the back half of the game where the relentless pressure finally cracked a disciplined Evil Nature defensive structure, allowing vShotsy to net the game-winner. While Evil Nature remained dangerous on the counter-attack, they simply couldn't find enough sustained zone time to tilt the ice back in their favor.
