SERIES RECAP

Bullet Hockey Club takes the series 2-1 over the Mighty Deks in a matchup defined by clinical efficiency over volume shooting. BHC jumped out to a 2-0 lead by grinding out disciplined 2-1 and 3-1 victories, frustrating a Deks squad that consistently controlled the pace but couldn't solve the defense. While the Mighty Deks finally found their offensive rhythm in a 5-4 shootout win in the finale, BHC’s ability to secure the first two games through high-danger counter-attacks ultimately decided the outcome. l_Willis_97_l was the primary offensive engine for Bullet Hockey Club, racking up 9 points across the 3 games, including a clinical hat trick in the series finale. Buckley0306 provided elite support down the middle with 6 points and a heavy two-way presence. For the Mighty Deks, See dub 21 was the standout performer, finishing the series with 7 points and orchestrating a massive 5-point performance in the final game to avoid the sweep. In net, JHubbs92 was the early hero for BHC, weathering a combined 36 shots in the first two games and turning aside 34 of them to put the Deks in an early hole. The deciding factor in this series was the disparity between puck possession and finishing. Despite losing the total shot battle 47-38 and trailing significantly in time on attack (1702 seconds to 1394), Bullet Hockey Club was incredibly efficient with their looks. The Mighty Deks dominated the possession game and shot volume, but BHC’s ability to capitalize on the few opportunities they had—exemplified by scoring 3 goals on just 9 shots in Game 2—allowed them to win the games that mattered. JHubbs92’s .873 save percentage over the three-game stretch provided the backbone BHC needed to withstand the Deks' relentless offensive pressure.
