SERIES RECAP

Bullet Hockey Club completed a dominant sweep, taking the series 3-0 over the Flamingos. While the opening game suggested a competitive matchup with a tight 3-2 finish, the series quickly shifted as Bullet Hockey Club's offensive execution reached an elite level. By the time they reached Game 3, the momentum was entirely on their side, resulting in a comfortable 4-1 victory to close out the set. The story of the series was the historic performance of l_Willis_97_l, who managed the incredible feat of recording a hat trick in all 3 games. He finished the series with 9 goals and 10 total points, consistently finding space in high-danger areas. He was supported by the elite distribution of yung96, who racked up 9 points (1 goal, 8 assists) to lead the series in playmaking. Between the pipes, JHubbs92 provided a steady presence for Bullet Hockey Club, stopping 36 of 41 shots for a .878 save percentage. On the Flamingos' side, JNoQuarterJ was the lone consistent bright spot, scoring 4 of his team's 5 total goals across the 3 games. The series was ultimately decided by clinical finishing and an increasingly lopsided possession battle. While the teams were even in shots during the first 2 games, Bullet Hockey Club was far more efficient, posting a team shooting percentage of 25% compared to just 9.6% for the Flamingos. Possession also became a major factor as the series progressed; in the Game 3 clincher, Bullet Hockey Club effectively neutralized the Flamingos' attack by holding the puck for 834 seconds of time on attack compared to just 365 for their opponents. This disparity in puck control, combined with a significant goaltending edge, left the Flamingos with no path to a comeback.
