SERIES RECAP

What a night of action we witnessed in the latest clashes between the Mighty Deks and Vorpal Swords! In the first game, the Swords bagged a 5-2 win, with Johnny H0ckey stealing the spotlight with a double and an assist. XXX RJ XXX scored one of the prettiest goals of the night, netting a hat-trick and landing the game-winner. The Deks had their highlights too, with Fraaqside shining by scoring and assisting, but it just wasn’t enough against the Swords' sharp play. The second showdown was a thrilling back-and-forth, ending in a 7-6 overtime win for the Swords. Buckley0306 flexed his muscles with 2 goals and 2 assists, while Chandler4911 from the Deks delivered a standout performance with 3 points to keep the fight alive. The Deks' power play wasn’t as effective, converting 1 of 8 chances, while the Swords showed their sniping skills by going 4 for 2, which proved crucial in this offensive battle. Finally, the Swords narrowly took the last match 4-3, with Johnny H0ckey once again leaving a mark with 2 goals, including the game-winner. Despite a commendable effort from the Deks, particularly from Fraaqside who poured in 2 goals himself, they just fell short. Each game in this series has been a nail-biter, showcasing some crazy individual talents, and we can't wait to see what happens next time!
