SERIES RECAP

What a series we had as the Bomb Squad and Yetis clashed in a double-header! Kicking things off with Game 1, the Bomb Squad took a 5-3 victory. Bigjayy was on fire, lighting the lamp 4 times, while Lagrange x 91 dished out 3 assists to pave the way for victory. The squad dominated the shot count with 23 shots compared to the Yetis' 14, and their special teams were on point, converting a power play goal. Texastk83 kept it steady in net, allowing just 3 goals despite facing heavy fire. Moving on to Game 2, the Yetis squeaked past the Bomb Squad in a wild finish, winning 7-6 in overtime. Buckley0306 and Lagrange x 91 went head-to-head in a scoring duel, both racking up 4 goals, but it was Buckley who stole the show with his hat trick. The Bomb Squad fought valiantly, with contributions from all corners of their roster, yet a crucial shorthanded goal by the Yetis tipped the scales in their favor. Both goalies were kept busy; texastk83 made 14 saves while legacyx13x faced 21 shots, managing to stop 10. The defensive units were also noteworthy, with players like BKGuapo stepping up to assist their offensive plays. This series was nothing short of electrifying, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats and we can't wait for the next showdown on the ice!
