What a game we had on October 22! The Vorpal Swords came out firing, taking down the Backdoor Bandits 6-2 in a performance that left little room for doubt. The Swords showcased their offensive firepower with 20 shots, while the Bandits struggled to muster up only 11. Goalies had their hands full, but ll Superstar ll made 9 saves, holding the Bandits to just 2 goals.
Big highlights for the Swords came from prochx9 and bigjayy, each netting a hat trick with 3 goals apiece. Prochx9 kept the pressure on with a power-play goal, while bigjayy found the back of the net twice at even strength and showed off some serious skill throughout. Johnny H0ckey was a playmaker for his team, racking up 3 assists, really setting the tempo and keeping the Bandits on their toes.
On the other side, Attree x I33I and Madaia23 managed to contribute with a goal each, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Swords' dominant offensive display. SophisticatedX made some impressive plays too, adding 2 assists and laying down 9 hits on top of that. The Bandits will have to regroup and clean up their game if they want to bounce back next time!
