What a wild one we had between Gold Standard and Fartality! Fartality edged out the home team, winning 7-6 in a high-octane showdown that kept everyone on their toes. Gold Standard had some big performances, especially from Swizz Wrld, who netted 3 goals and an assist, and THAT 1 ODD GUY with a goal and 3 assists. But it just wasn’t enough as they couldn't keep pace with Fartality's relentless offense.
Speaking of Fartality, they were led by Binzet37 who absolutely lit it up with 4 goals and 2 assists, including the game-winner. Zuuuuuuuuub stepped up with 2 goals and a monstrous 5 assists, showcasing some serious playmaking skills. The defense may have been under siege, with Fatalx876650 allowing 6 goals, but it was the offense that stole the show in this one!
The game was a rollercoaster: Gold Standard managed 16 shots but Fartality took the cake with 18. Both teams had their chances on the power play, but the Gold Standard surprisingly went 0 for 6 while Fartality capitalized on 2 out of 4. In the end, it was a frantic finish, and Fartality takes the win, kicking off the season with some serious momentum!
