Anarchy put on a puck-possession clinic on Wednesday night, skating away with a decisive 5-2 victory over the Flamingos. While the final score reflects a three-goal margin, the real story was told in the offensive zone. Anarchy dictated the tempo from the opening draw, racking up a massive 706 seconds of time on attack compared to just 369 for the Flamingos. Despite a physical pushback from the Flamingos’ skaters, Anarchy’s ability to cycle and sustain pressure eventually wore down the opposition, turning a close contest into a comfortable multi-goal lead by the final whistle.
The offensive load was carried almost entirely by the dynamic duo of MoNsTeR I30I and Kosh 14. MoNsTeR I30I was clinical, finishing the night with a hat trick and 2 assists for a 5-point performance. Not to be outdone, Kosh 14 matched that production with 2 goals and 3 assists of his own, meaning the pair had a hand in every single Anarchy goal. On the other side, Swizz wrld and l Volcom x 28 l did their best to keep the Flamingos in it, each recording a goal and an assist while combining for a staggering 28 hits to try and disrupt Anarchy’s rhythm. Between the pipes, Washedbob provided steady enough play for Anarchy, stopping 9 of 11 shots to secure the win.
The game was ultimately decided by Anarchy’s relentless shot volume and zone control. They doubled up the Flamingos in shots, 21 to 11, making life difficult for SargeNPrawns, who turned aside 16 shots in a losing effort. Interestingly, the Flamingos actually controlled the dots, with Chandler4911 winning 14 of 22 faceoffs for a 63.6% success rate.
