In an absolute nail-biter that came down to the wire, Gangsters Hockey Club managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Anarchy despite losing the battle for puck control. Anarchy dictated the flow for much of the night, racking up a massive 12:13 in time on attack (733 seconds) compared to just 7:35 for the Gangsters. However, the game turned on the Gangsters' ability to strike gold on limited opportunities. While Anarchy used their zone time to work the cycle, the Gangsters utilized a rapid-strike transition game that caught the home side pinched up high, turning a tight defensive third period into a desperate comeback attempt that Anarchy just couldn't finish.
The Gangsters’ offense was driven entirely by the lethal duo of xHoodler and Dylan-_-Carr94. Both forwards were involved in every single goal for their squad, finishing the night with identical stat lines of 2 goals and 2 assists. Peck l87 l played the quintessential playmaker role, picking up 3 assists and leading the physical charge with 10 hits to disrupt Anarchy’s breakout. On the other side, Anarchy saw a balanced but ultimately insufficient attack, with sniffyakk and PunchmadeFinn each tallying a goal and an assist. Despite Hawk x I22I’s best efforts to spark the team with a game-high 11 hits and a goal, Anarchy couldn't find the equalizer against Unh0lyxSn1pe, who stood tall with 12 saves to preserve the narrow lead.
