RECAP

Feet For Hands secured a narrow 3-2 victory over the Mighty Deks in a contest defined by defensive grit and capitalized opportunities. While the Mighty Deks actually controlled the run of play for large stretches—pacing the game with 9:20 of time on attack compared to Feet For Hands’ 9:08—they struggled to penetrate the slot consistently. The game remained a deadlock until Feet For Hands found their rhythm in the transition game, using quick breakouts to bypass a physical Deks forecheck. The turning point came late as Gucci Goals buried his second of the night, which stood as the game-winner, effectively neutralizing a late surge from the opposition. Gucci Goals was the undisputed catalyst for the home side, finding the back of the net twice on 8 shots to provide the necessary finishing touch. He was supported heavily by rxzmus26, who played a complete balanced game with a goal, an assist, and 6 hits. On the backend, Lividpenguin342 anchored the defense, racking up 7 hits to keep the Mighty Deks' forwards from establishing a cycle. For the Deks, BAR D0WN 43 was a one-man wrecking crew; he scored both of his team's goals and led all players with a massive 10 hits, essentially willing his team back into the game through sheer force of play. The deciding factor in this matchup was shot efficiency and puck discipline. Remarkably, neither team served a single minute in the penalty box, resulting in a pure 5-on-5 tactical battle where space was at a premium. Although the Mighty Deks held a slight edge in possession, Feet For Hands proved more dangerous with their looks, outshooting the Deks 17-13. FowIerrr provided the edge in goal for the home team, stopping 11 of 13 shots for an .846 save percentage, coming up with two critical saves in the final minute to prevent the Deks from forcing overtime.
