RECAP

Los Bandidos showcased a masterclass in clinical finishing, dismantling the Mighty Deks 7-2 in a game where the final score didn’t necessarily reflect the battle for possession. Despite the Mighty Deks controlling the tempo with 10:17 of time on attack compared to just 7:12 for Los Bandidos, the game turned on the visitors' ability to strike quickly in transition. The Mighty Deks managed to pepper 16 shots on frame but struggled to find high-danger seams, whereas Los Bandidos capitalized on nearly every odd-man rush and defensive breakdown to put the game out of reach by the midway point. The offensive fireworks for Los Bandidos were led by a relentless top six. WhoUsedAlltheTP was the standout finisher, lighting the lamp 4 times on just 6 shots, including a critical power play tally. He was fueled by the elite playmaking of EARLSWTSHlRT, who notched 1 goal and 4 assists for a 5-point night, and Jellyl35l, who matched that production with 2 goals and 3 assists of his own. On the other side, the Mighty Deks' offense was limited to scattered production from BAR D0WN 43 and hockeymike2344, who each recorded a goal and an assist. Chandler4911 attempted to ignite his team physically with a game-high 10 hits, but the heavy pressure wasn't enough to rattle the Bandidos' composure. Ultimately, the deciding factor was pure efficiency and goaltending. CN65 was rock solid for Los Bandidos, stopping 14 of 16 shots for a .875 save percentage and frustrating the Deks' cycle-heavy offense. While the Mighty Deks actually held the edge in time on attack and physical play, Los Bandidos were significantly more dangerous with the puck, scoring on nearly 40% of their total shots. This game served as a reminder that possession time is a hollow stat if you can’t penetrate the slot, as Los Bandidos turned a shot-clock deficit into a 5-goal blowout.
