In a game that defied the logic of the stat sheet, the Half Shell Cartel walked away with a 5-2 victory over Medium Sized Men despite being outplayed in nearly every possession metric. Medium Sized Men exerted suffocating pressure throughout the contest, doubling the Cartel's time on attack (11:46 to 6:13) and outshooting them 15-10. However, the game turned on a series of clinical counter-attacks by the Cartel, who punished every minor defensive lapse to build a lead that the home side simply couldn't chip away at, regardless of their territorial dominance.
