What a showdown we had last night as The Mighty Deks took it to The Mighty Drunks, finishing strong at 5-3! The Deks really showcased their offensive prowess, firing off just 9 shots but capitalizing on them like pros. TwO AcCuRaTE was a standout with 2 goals and an assist, snagging the game winner and putting on a defensive clinic. WhoUsedAlltheTP also had a huge night, racking up 4 points—2 goals and 2 assists—while BAR D0WN 43 threw in a solid performance with 8 hits.
On the other side, The Mighty Drunks had some moments of brilliance, especially from TheHeroicDuck, who netted 1 goal and contributed an assist. Devin decibel and l_Willis_97_l each found the back of the net too, but it just wasn’t enough to beat ZienoYT’s stellar stopping ability in goal, making 17 saves while allowing 3 goals. RedSkinStallion, on the other hand, had a rough night in net, letting in 5 on just 11 shots faced, which can’t help a team looking to make a statement.
The ice was definitely buzzing with energy as The Mighty Deks played smart, limiting their penalties and keeping the pressure on the Drunks.
