What a night for the Muffin Men as they skated away with a solid 5-2 win over Evil Nature! DiabloQc was the star of the show, lighting the lamp with a hat trick and tossing in an assist for good measure. He was everywhere, throwing hits and just dominating the offense with 5 shots on goal. xRoamingxRoninx also found the back of the net, contributing that big power play goal, while iclassyxttv and SupremeBannock pitched in with critical points to keep the pressure on.
On the flip side, Binzet37 got in on the action for Evil Nature with a couple of goals, including a short-handed beauty. Darkstorm2504 and Hoss9286 helped set the stage with a few assists, but it just wasn’t enough to keep up with the scoring machine that was Muffin Men. K33P x 27 in goal had a tough night, facing 13 shots and letting in 4 goals, while his counterpart Hobo On Welfare made some big stops to seal the win.
Time of possession clearly favored Evil Nature as they logged 527 to the Muffin Men’s 280, but they couldn’t convert. The Muffin Men really made the most of their chances, showing that when they get rolling, they’re tough to stop. Overall, an exciting game with some stellar individual performances, and it's clear the Muffin Men are ready to make waves this season!
