In a clash full of intensity, the Mighty Drunks took down the Murder Muppets with a final score of 4-1. Starting strong, DiabloQc netted 2 goals and added an assist, while Jellyl35l also made his mark with 2 goals and 2 assists, showing off some unreal chemistry out there. TheHeroicDuck played facilitator all night with a remarkable 4 assists, helping to keep the Muppets on their toes.
The Muppets did have some momentary flashes, with Gxalie managing to grab one as they played catch-up, but that was pretty much all she wrote for the home squad. CN65 had a busy night in net, facing 15 shots but couldn’t quite hold down the fort as he let in 4 goals. On the other side, ll Superstar ll stood tall with 8 saves and nailed that 1.0 goals-against average.
Heading into the next matchup, the Mighty Drunks will definitely be riding high on their offensive explosion while the Murder Muppets will be looking to find a way to tighten things up defensively. With the playoffs looming, every game counts and both teams will have to bring their best. What a night for puck drop action!
