What a game we just witnessed as Back 2 Basics took down Rink Rivals Raiders 6-3 in an electrifying showdown! Right out of the gate, the home side flexed their power play muscles, lighting up the scoreboard twice while the Raiders struggled to find their rhythm, going 0 for 4 on the man advantage. The shots were coming in hot, with the Raiders peppering the Back 2 Basics' net with 21 shots, but Scarrzy33 held firm, making 18 saves along the way for a solid performance.
BeRoose was on fire tonight with 2 goals and an assist, leading his crew towards victory while also throwing in 3 hits for good measure. l Bagshot l made a mark with another pair of goals, including a critical game-winner. Prodigyx8 did what he does best with an incredible 5 assists, setting up plays left and right. The defense was no slouch either, as Jewbawkka and Gala contributed 4 points combined, proving that the offense was truly a team effort.
On the flip side, OG MURPH 416 tried to keep the Raiders in the game with his 2 goals, while FloppyW3nis added a goal and an assist, but ultimately it was just too much firepower from Back 2 Basics. IamStillTyping had a tough outing in net, allowing 6 goals on 14 shots. It's a hard-fought game, but Back 2 Basics created more chances and closed it out, solidifying their spot as a team to watch. Can't wait to see how these squads bounce back in their next matchups!
